Graham Brecker: Darwin & Port Hedland - " Obey The Hive " in practice

Graham Brecker:  Darwin & Port Hedland  - " Obey The Hive " in practice

Very insightful, I have found, to witness the massive manpower involvement contributing to the immense prosperity of our mining companies in these areas.

"Obey the hive" in action = the few privileged gaining from the workers' efforts.

Equity of re-distribution of profits/income immediately comes to mind.

Will publish some photos - 'picture paints a thousand words' later.

Diversity of Australia's income sources/reduced sovereign risk apparent, moving between financial centres of Melbourne, Sydney and then Northern Territory.

Trust that these real workers are recognised accordingly - if not it appears grossly unfair.

Refer also my Facebook entries for more information - contact information also provided there.

One just has to see the monumental inputs from labour here in Darwin and Port Hedland to appreciate , perhabs, what some others see as important in income distribution, labour rights, worker protection and collective bargaining - cannot help to think how vitally important the worker is in these areas and with these commodities' importance for the financial health of Australia.
